Mounts roll skill checks with their riders skills. When you level up, mounts add the same amount of hp that you do when you roll your hit die. 

Charge: As a full round action, you may move up to double your speed on your mount in a straight line. When you stop, you may make a melee attack action. The attack gets bonus to hit and to damage equal to +1 for every 5 feet you charge.

HP Buff: You and your mount gain +10 HP

Damage Reduction (Dex Mod): You and your horse gain damage reduction equal to your Dexterity Modifier.

Reactionary Defense: Dexterity Mod times per day, you may use the fortify action as a free action.

Spring Attack: You may split your movement action before and after you take your other actions.

Initiative Bonus: Gain +5 to your Initiative 

Prestige Class: Cataphract or Gendarme

Choose One: 

Cataphract: Charge deals +3 damage and to hit per 5 feet instead of +1.

Gain +10 Speed and +2 Base attack bonus.

+5 to Animal Handling.

Gendarme: Gain +3 AC. You don’t lose speed from armor.

Adaptive armor gives +2 AC instead of +1.

+2 to Fortitude
